Meet Our Doctors

Jessalyn Halsted, OD

Dr. Halsted, a native Arkansan, specializes in comprehensive optometric care for all ages and has been serving the people of Northwest Arkansas since 2012. Dr. Halsted graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, where she was a collegiate athlete. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Halsted completed clinical externships at Vision Enhancement Clinic and the Missouri Eye Institute, both located in Springfield, Missouri.

Dr. Halsted sees patients of all ages, but she takes a special interest in pediatric eye care. Her clinical expertise allows her to diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic related eye disease, amblyopia, and dry eye.

Dr. Halsted is married to Alex and has two young sons. When she isn’t caring for her patients, you can find her doing all things active. She enjoys the outdoors with her family, trail running with her dog, playing racquetball, biking, and maybe even watching Bengals football or a good movie. Dr. Halsted is also active in her church and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the University of the Ozarks.
