Jim Myers, O.D.
Dr. Myers specializes in comprehensive optometric care and has been ministering to the people of Rogers for over 40 years. He attended Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi, and received his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Myers has received numerous academic awards. He has been a frequent lecturer at national optometric meetings on various aspects of ophthalmic disease and has served as a consultant for numerous leading eye clinics across the country. He performed some of the original research on the material used in some of the first soft contact lenses.
He is married to Mary Beth and has five grown children and eleven grandchildren. When Dr. Myers isn't seeing patients, you can find him enjoying his grandchildren either at the baseball fields or at dance competitions. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting and fishing when he has the chance. Investing in the community, Dr. Myers has served in numerous community organizations over the years as well. He is an active member at First Baptist Church in Rogers.
Dr. Myers is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Arkansas Optometric Association, and the Heart of America Contact Lens Society. While Dr. Myers focuses on comprehensive eye exams and contact lenses, he is also skilled in pre/post-operative care for cataract surgery and the diagnosis and medical management of ocular disease.
